Location: Fiera Milano (Rho), Hall 1, Stand C05.

TALES OF LIFE, MEMORIES OF NATURE

A contemporary tale about the most intimate space of our lives, suspended in a luminous and scenic metaphysical vision: that's the staging that Cantori will present at the 61st edition of the Salone del Mobile, in Milan.

For the coming kermesse Cantori has planned an itinerary through contemporary design that combines icons of Cantori's history and innovative furnishing proposals, guided by an instinctive affinity with the Bauhaus motto that "form follows function". Characterized by core principles such as practical functionality and a clean and streamlined aestethics, it is actualized through simple and minimalist solutions of design, merged in a harmonious balance.

The exploration continues through the already-existing collections, yet given new interpretations and suggestions for the domestic space, which in recent years has undergone great changes. A metamorphosis full of affective meaning, a renewed encounter between tradition and novelty.
Characterized by a continuous dialogue between aesthetic rigor and high quality, all Cantori products are interesting proposals of high design, expressions of the transformation of trends, ideas for a contemporary lifestyle.

The immersive path through the Cantori space begins with the Blockbau relaxation corner, a system composed of sofa and dormeuse along with Jakie armchairs, a refined and sophisticated project — the result of a continuous, fruitful, and precious collaboration with the architect Maurizio Manzoni — characterized by extremely clean shapes, raised from the ground with a high level of comfort. The Hong Kong bookstore and the Valley sideboard — having given them an increasingly elegant reinterpretation — complete the environment.

Leather with new blue highlights covers the essential lines of the Johnson sofa, here combined with Johnson tables in marble and iron bronze finish and the always-contemporary and unforgettable, Diadema bookcase, designed by Castello Lagravinese Studio.

Details realized with the new selection of coverings, all tailor-made, emphasise the outline of the Sharon bed and bedside tables, designed by Maurizio Manzoni, here presented alongside the Juliet console and the Karina armchairs.

The round Mirage table is transformed thanks to the oval soap bar-shaped top, acquiring a different aesthetic character when placed next to the new Jakie chairs, the Circe floor lamp (by designer Luca Roccadadria) and the Mirage sideboard, here presented with a petrol blue finish.

The iconic, irreplaceable Twist armchair — designed by Castello Lagravinese Studio — is flanked by the square Cloud table, opening up a scenic set-up consisting of the Arcano table with Karina chairs and Oasi cabinet, and a sofa system between innovation and reinterpretation: Cloud table, a corner composition of Valley sofas with Sharon armchairs. The true protagonist of this environment is the Vico library, with its rigorous and contemporary structure.

Cantori's new arrivals at Salone del Mobile 2023

Precious materials, sensory combinations and references to Bauhaus first design school: these are the distinctive characteristics of the new Cantori products presented at Salone del Mobile 2023.

MODULAR SOFAS

Blockbau and Cloud: the first is inspired by the homonymous construction technique. Characterized by a diamond pattern placed side by side, its strong point is the softness of the seat, interspersed with wooden details.

Cloud is made up of a series of seats and rounded backrests, supported by a metal rod T to be positioned in a personal and creative way, like the slow movement of clouds.

ARMCHAIR AND CHAIR

The Jackie armchair is one of Cantori's 2023 novelties that is reaping greater success.

Inspired by Jackie Kennedy Onassis for the elegance of the essential shapes and quality of construction, the seat is made up of three different upholstered blocks placed one next to the other to form an enveloping hand.

The chair is also part of the same line, characterized by a metal structure with a rigorous design that supports a soft ergonomic seat.

NOT JUST PADDED

At Salone del Mobile 2023, Cantori presented the Vico day system; an asymmetrical TV stand bookcase, where colors and materials blend into a single piece of furniture.
