Cantori Design Challenge 2026: Design Beyond the Horizon

Cantori proudly unveils the second edition of the Cantori Design Challenge, an inspiring creative initiative developed in partnership with Cantiere delle Marche to explore the future of contemporary living through the dialogue between interior design and yacht design.

Following the success of its inaugural edition, the Challenge returns with an even broader international vision, bringing together nine acclaimed architecture and interior design studios to reinterpret the interiors of the Flexplorer 146 by Cantiere delle Marche, an explorer yacht designed around the principles of customization, flexibility, and creative freedom.

The participating studios - Annabella Nassetti, b-arch, Dainelli Studio, De.Tales, Gascón Group, Giò Forma, Giuseppe Tortato Architetti, GMS Studio Associato, and Paolo Frello & Partners - have been invited to reimagine three signature onboard spaces: the Owner Cabin, Main Saloon, and Main Aft Deck. Their mission: to envision new ways of experiencing life at sea, where movement, comfort, and design seamlessly converge.

A distinctive feature of this second edition is the dialogue between design and music. Each studio drew inspiration from the creative universe of a different artist, translating it into a project that reimagines the experience of living at sea. From the timeless elegance of Ella Fitzgerald and the cinematic atmospheres of Ennio Morricone to the experimental sound of Pink Floyd and the energy of Eminem, music becomes the driving force behind new design perspectives.

The Challenge reflects the natural evolution of Cantori's long-standing expertise in the world of luxury yachting. For over 25 years, the company has been crafting bespoke furnishings for high-end yachts, bringing its distinctive manufacturing excellence, refined material research, and fifty years of artisanal know-how into the marine industry.

The journey will culminate at the prestigious Monaco Yacht Show, one of the world's leading events for superyachts, where the three selected projects will be unveiled and celebrated.
