Circe
Designed by Luca Roccadadria, Circe arises from the encounter between rigorous design principles and the culture of leather, interpreted through a contemporary and sartorial language. The backrest, whose upper fold recalls the gesture of a handbag flap, becomes the distinctive sign of the project, where aesthetic detail and formal solution merge into a single, cohesive image. A seating piece that interprets materiality with discretion and precision, designed to integrate into residential and contract spaces with a quiet yet distinctive elegance. “I imagined Circe not simply as a chair, but as a small architecture for the body, where every detail is designed as one would design an accessory to be worn. I drew inspiration from the world of high-end saddlery, where leather is not just a material, but a living surface that tells the story of time and use. I wanted to bring that same idea of functional, understated luxury into an everyday furnishing element.” Luca Roccadadria
