Itaca Chair, designed by Maurizio Manzoni. Inspired by the myth of Ulysses, the Itaca chair represents the warm embrace of his beloved homeland upon the return of the protagonist. The curved and shaped steel frame creates a structural continuum that defines the silhouette of the seat. The seat itself consists of a poplar plywood base with elastic straps and a curved, round rubber backrest that wraps around both the vertical rear uprights and the steel armrest.
